Deeply creative

“We all have passions and talents. Often, they lie dormant within us, and sometimes, we just need a little spark to awaken them so we can truly live and experience them.

Art that speaks to the soul

One of the defining moments in my artistic journey came when I wanted to share my paintings with a blind friend. As I spoke about an upcoming exhibition, I suddenly realised that he would never experience my work the way most people do.

That thought stayed with me. I began asking myself: Is art only meant to be seen?

I wanted my paintings to become something more than an image. I wanted them to be experienced—to invite people not only to look, but also to feel.

Since I paint with my fingers, touch has always been an essential part of my creative process. For me, this direct connection between my hands, the paint, and the canvas creates an intimacy that brushes could never achieve. It allows me to shape every surface instinctively and gives each painting its own unique, tactile character.

My hands shape every texture, every movement, and every layer. Naturally, I began incorporating sand, stones, earth, and other materials from nature into my work, creating surfaces that speak through touch as much as through color—most notably in my Heart Collection.

When I invited my friend to explore especially my painting Fragile Heart with his hands, he slowly traced the textures with his fingertips. After a long silence, he smiled and said:
“I can feel four broken hearts, coming together as one.”
In that moment, I understood something profound. Art does not begin or end with our eyes. It lives in emotion, in memory, and in human connection.

That experience shaped my philosophy as an artist. My paintings are not only meant to be seen—they are meant to be felt. They invite people to slow down, to connect with the textures, and to experience art through more than one sense.

Every surface tells a story, and every layer carries a piece of nature, emotion, and life.
